30 Rock and The Office season finale

Two of my favorite shows had their season three and season five finales on Thursday. Now, I used to absolutely love The Office, but after season four it started to lose its once former stature for being funny and entertaining, into just becoming drama and relationship issues. The season finale was no different and was just a stupid and meaningless plot of Holly and Micheal meeting one another and resolving absolutely nothing between the two. Their interaction wasn't even funny and the little skit they performed just made me face palm with how they could turn something comedic into a serious situation. Then at the end we find out about Pam being pregnant and Jim being ecstatic. I guess many others enjoyed that aspect, but in truth I started to lose the appeal of their relationship after they actually got together and the tension wore off between the two.

Now its gotten to the point where I don't know if I'm even looking forward to season six if it continues this trend. The Office used to be so funny with the many antics and politics it involved, but now its become a pure drama fest and only about office relationships. Micheal Scott was such a funny character who you'd come to both hate AND love, but lately his character has taken a turn for the worst and I find myself disliking him more and more to the point where I just don't even want to see him. The show doesn't even feel like a documentary anymore and more like a dry show that can't provide the great laughs it used to. I doubt it will ever reach its prime greatness as was season 2.

30 Rock on the other hand continues to get better with each season and episode. It almost always guarantees a laugh every episode with witty humor and great one liners (I like it so much, I want to take it behind a middle school and get it pregnant!). Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin are the perfect leads who provide good counter part characters that brings a lot of perspective into the show. The side cast is wonderful and unique as well, and Tracy Morgan (playing as himself) while he isn't he great actor, his antics always get me laughing at how ridiculous they are. Oh and the season three finale? Beyond fucking amazing. So many guest appearances who all sung a song for Kidney benefit “He Needs a Kidney” with Sheryl Crow, Elvis Costello, Mary J. Blige, Moby, Cyndi Lauper and the Beastie Boys, plus many others I don't know but I'm sure they are popular. It was one hell of a finale and just washed the bad taste of The Office out of my mouth. I love 30 Rock and am actually looking forward to season four.

Also, I don't know what happened last night and how I slept on my bed but I'm seriously sore everywhere and hurting bad. Took a couple of tyenols to feel better and hope it kicks in.

Looking clean

Got a haircut today. 15$ for a nice clean cut to get rid of the mop on my head. I even for the first time in six years got a shampoo done. It was a nice feeling. Haircuts are always nice right? I mean its almost like getting a massage for your head and soothes your brain. The cosmologist was really great, probably the best I've ever had.

She did a great job in keeping the proportions and followed suit on everything I asked her to do as well as make recommended for me. I was really grateful so I gave her a 5$ dollar tip as well (and it was out of courtesy since shes married so yeah). Going to back there for sure when I get future haircuts! Anyway post pics later when my face doesn't look like shit.
