Hellz yeah Christmas presents! =D

I got my Garmin GPS system that I wanted for my car so I was really happy! Thank you Auntie and Uncle <3

My brothers got me a few Xbox 360 games with NBA 2k9, Mass Effect, and Assassins Creed. My parents got me "The Presidents Club" package for my car which basically is a program that insures free checkups and updates on my car with a shit load of benefits to maintain my car. I also got a Black Berry Curve Cellphone as a bonus present. It's really sweet and now I'm up to date with a QWERTY pad on my cellphone. I'm going to be texting a lot now XD

Overall an awesome Christmas! We had my Aunt's special marshmallow pancakes for breakfast and its the sweetest thing fucking ever! So tasty. And a pot roast lunch with a full turkey dinner (straight up sliced and no mess!). Man its really been a nice Christmas here in Virgina and been good to hang out with family and beat all my little cousins in Brawl. Also, had some Hookah with my pops and uncle with some good shisha. It was a nice--bonding moment. Really great atmosphere and terrific time. I enjoyed it well and wish all the other people a wonderful Christmas around the world.

Political Science abd Econometrics Final

Oh my God I'm finally freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Today was the last day of finals and they were my easiest ones! First I had Political Science from 10:30 - 12:30 but I finished in exactly one hour. I just had to do five small paragraph responses and one large essay. I took the extra hour to study for Econometrics which was from 1-3, and finished around an hour and half. It was pretty good since it was seventy five multiple choice but like over half of them had that fucking annoying "none of the above" God do I hate those!

But really I don't want to go into detail since I'm fucking done bitches! Winter break Hellz yeah! Time to crash and be so damn lazy! Play games, watch anime, eat junk food, hang out with friends, and sleeeeeeeeeeep!

Neuropsych Final

Now that French is over I can go over the finals that I'm actually a little more adept at taking. Had the final today from 1-3:30 p.m. with 75 multiple choice and one essay. The multiple choice wasn't bad and the only ones I had trouble on was when the last answer choice was "None of the above". God I really really hate those. Overall though it wasn't bad since I did a good recap over all the chapters we had read as well as rereading the ones that I had trouble on.

The essay took about fifty minutes and was on a case involving schizophrenia. It was pretty good I just really bullshitted the essay though XD And I had trouble reading those God damn CT scans (why do they have to be so fucking dark? Give us color like the professionals you cheap bastards!) but it didn't hinder my performance. I think the lowest I can get is a B- *knocks on wood to not jinx himself* and the best is a low A. Even if I love the class those damn tests were hard!

Also current song at the moment, Heartless. God damn Kanye's latest album sucks shit, but this song is off the hook! I've had it on repeat for the last few days. Its a really good song. I've played it 40 times already! XD Oh well really good song with a nice beat and catchy lyrics.



I'm off to get some jello.
 


French Final

Two hours of French and God damn was I burned out. The first hour was the individual part with multiple choice, fill in the blanks, translating sentences, and True (lol) or false. Was it hard? Fuck yes! I memorized as many words, verbs, pronouns, as I could but I think I most likely messed up on the translating sentences (from French to English) since the verb structure is different than English.

Thankfully the second hour of the test was a group session where we were in groups of three and we all redid the test. Whatever score we got on the group test would be compared to the highest score of the person with the best score in our group. So i.e. if we as a group got a 90 and the highest individual score was 80, we'd get a 10 point bonus added to our score. I don't know how much we could have earned but I'm hoping its enough to give me a 60 on the final and pass the class. I really don't care about languages anymore! I just want to get it over with for fucks sake!

I haven't enjoyed a manga this much in a long time.

Holy shit I don't think I've been so enthralled by a manga since I started to read Berserk (which is my all time favorite ever hands down) a couple of years ago. Every chapter, every page, every panel , was just so enjoyable and I spent so much time being entertained by it. I'm really glad I was introduced to it by a few of my good friends and I'm actually thinking of buying the first few volumes that have been released here in the U.S. because it was just so enjoyable and defintetly something I'd reread again in the future.

Here is my review for it:

Rosario + Vampire (Season One) Completed.

Rating: 8.8/10

Starting off with the weaknesses, the manga lacks an overall plot (then again it is considered a Slice of Life) and the major arcs while holding a general interest aren't really creative or hold a strong sense of tension/anticiaption since the outcome is pretty much obvious. Also, it doesn't really have attractive villains since most of them are mundane and rather bleak. They start off appearing strong and fearsome, but usually by the end of the chapter you can tell who will win and it gets really redundant. However, even with these points the manga still managed to hold a strong interest for me and I actually finished it within a week.

The strong points for the manga are obviously the characters. A very unique main cast who have different personalities and styles, yet are able to form a good tandem and dynamic with one another. The interactions are always great with comedic moments flowing nicely and on spot; the emotional scenes are unforced and fit in perfectly when the mangaka draws them. The main lead isn't your stereotypical male character in a shounen harem as he is quite dimensional with a strong and docile personality. The female lead is also attractive (and not only in looks) with the different perspectives of her character which makes me enjoy every panel she appears in. The two main leads make a great pair with one another and along with their friends (the rest of the main cast) the manga becomes very enjoyable with their interaction.

Also another note I have to make is the overall improvement in the art. It starts of decent making it tolerable, but after the first few volumes it really starts to become attractive to the eyes. The characters are more defined and better drawn giving them great depth and the background really starts to stand out as well. The scenery fits in wonderfully and really brings out the emotion and overall feeling that the mangaka is trying to convey to the reader. The double pages are amazingly drawn and I soak in every part of the pages as my eyes scan over the screen. I'd say the art is 1/10 on the level of Berserk (which by far has the greatest art in any manga I've ever read so is actually impressive).

Overall while the general plot and villains are weak, the reason it gets such a high rating is because of a great set of characters, magnificent art, well played comedy, emotional scenes, harem element, and the fact it left me satisfied with the end of each chapter and always anxious to continue reading. It was a fantastic read and time well spent.


Season two started off 'ok' and was quite dismal at the start, but the recent chapters have proven to be quite entertaining as season one was. I'm looking foward to reading it and I hope the fandom (which is rather small) start to grow and see an increase of fanfiction and fanart. The anime has been regarded as shit since it strays away from the canon manga and just appeals to fanservice and ignoring plot whatsover. Hopefully more people will check out the manga and the fandom becomes bigger which would be great to see.
 


She came last night...

Oh God she visited me last night...

She was at the doorway to my mind. She knocked just twice before I opened the door. We silently looked at one another reminiscing upon the many times we spent together. The good times, the bad times, the happy times, the sad times, just time spent with each other. We brought out the best in one another and just knew what to say/write/type when we were together. She had the magic touch that I craved so much. But then she left me..for that bastard procrastination. I don't know what he offered her, but I guess what we used to have no longer held any meaning.

But last night she came back to me. I know I should have just closed the door and left her outside but..I didn't. I couldn't. I guess it was just that spark I felt when I saw her eyes. Something in the back of my mind clicked and I just had to let her in. No words were spoken. I just stepped back and she entered my domain. I let her take over. No grudges. No remorse. No sadness. We just spent our time together like we always used to.

1,900 words. That's what we made together last night. And then in the morning...she was gone. My bedside was empty. Was I angry? Sure who wouldn't? But, at least last night I felt that great euphoric feeling that I used to in the past. Is she forever gone? I don't know. Will she ever return? I dare say I hope so. Will we share those times like we used to? God, I hope so. I don't know whats going on with her, but I'll wait. I'll be here always and my mind is forever open to her. I won't long for her to comeback, but I pray that she does. For she may not have said it, but I know that she is carrying with her something that we made together. Only time will tell when that secret is let out.
 


Being sick fucking sucks!

God I hate being sick. I never ever get sick. Why does it happen now? Sore throat. Stuffy nose. Major headache. Body aches. Hacking Coughs. No high temperature, but still this shit sucks especially since its time to study for finals. I can't concentrate whatsoever and end up being a zombie like creature. I'm in my bed covered under the blankets surrounded by a dozen pillows.

I've drank three cups of hot warm tea with honey. I've had Aleve Cold and Sinus and Tylenol pills. I ordered Chinese to get some Chicken Noodle Soup and Lo Mein. I'm ordering a cheese steak sub with fries and coke for dinner. I haven't gone to the gym in over a week. My mind has left my body behind. I need to survive somehow.

I hate finals.
I really hate finals.
I really really hate finals.
I fucking hate finals.
