I finished eight seasons of Scrubs in about two weeks. Yeah, summer sure has been exciting [/sarcasm]. I had watched a few episodes here and their on t.v. but never actually followed through and watched it in order. So I downloaded the torrents for the complete series (34.6 gigs!) and caught it during meals, late at night, and even marathon-ed it a few times when I had nothing to do. The show was great. Had lots of comedic moments, plenty of interesting medical showings, drama, wonderful dynamic cast, and a down to earth feeling. It's a lot different then shows such as House, ER, and Gray's Anatomy, because it has a unique feeling that distinguishes itself from the rest.

It had wonderful humor. All the funny scenes were top notch and well pitched. Especially loved J.D.'s fantasies/daydreams coming to life. The characters were all great and enjoyable to watch. I loved all the main cast characters of the show. J.D., Elliott, Carla, Turk, Dr. Cox, "Janitor", Dr. Kelso. They each brought a unique and diverse character to show and it was simply fun to watch. J.D./Turk's bromance was hilarious and well played and his relationship with Elliott was great to watch and finally come to a conclusion at the end. Turk/Carla's relationship continued to grow from season one and great to see the progess they made together. Dr. Cox's life has head attendant and just watching his character go through so many times--good and bad, was exemplary and his connection with J.D. was great to see progress over time. Janitor always had great humor and definitely the wild card of the show that kept it funny. Though Dr. Kelso didn't get as much screen time as the other, his presence had a significant impact on the show and kept it going strong.

I know I only saw it in two weeks, but I felt really attached to the series as I watched season after next. The characters grew and went through life facing many struggles and altering instances and you could literally have a sense of connection with them. It felt great and created a realistic (excusing the thing done for sitcom purposes) view of a cast of people who progressed through life in a hospital. They dealt with their careers, friends, love, and everything else life threw at them. To be honest it almost made me feel like I wanted to be a part of that setting, a medical field. Of course, life isn't a sitcom and it's a show for peoples pleasure. Even if it did have great themes that dealt with real life issues, it was solely for entertainment purposes. I've watched it and time was well spent, so it's time to move on and watching something else.

Overall, Scrubs is definetly one of the best shows I've ever watched and it has left some great memories within me.
